Hi y'all! Like that use of Texan grammar? :) Minnesota Roots & Cowboy Boots was created to connect my Midwest Family with my new Texas adventure. My hope is that this blog will give all my friends and family a peek into my life down south.
For those who don't know, I made the move from Rochester, Minnesota to Austin, Texas in November. I'm still working for the American Cancer Society, but instead of working with our signature breast cancer walk, I now manage five Relay For Life events. I'm slowly getting settled and so far I absolutely love the city, but ask me again in August when it's 110 degrees every day.
